Title: Police Commander

Location: Greenville, NC

Salary: $100,000-$112,862

Minimum requirement: A minimum of a bachelors degree or greater and 7 years of sworn law enforcement officer experience or an associate degree and 9 years of sworn law enforcement officer experience. At least 3 years of the experience must have been in a supervisory role equivalent to a Police Sergeant or greater. Certification from NC CJETSC as a commissioned police officer or certification eligible for out of state lateral hires.

Preferred requirement: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or greater and 7 years of sworn law enforcement officer experience in higher education or an associate’s degree and 9 years of sworn law enforcement officer experience in higher education. At least 3 years of the higher education law enforcement experience must have been in a supervisory role equivalent to a Police Sergeant or greater. Advanced certification from NC CJETSC as a commissioned police officer or certification eligible for out of state lateral hires.
